The Overtime Management Microservice enables users to conveniently apply for overtime.
To request overtime, please follow the instructions below:
- Go to the "Requests" section and select "Overtime Requests".
- Click on the "Request Overtime" button.
- Fill out the overtime request form with the necessary details, such as the type of overtime, start date, number of hours, and any additional information required.
- Overtime requests can only be filed for future dates. Filing leaves for past dates are not allowed.
- Overtime hours for now can only be integers.
- Click on "Save as Draft" button
- Once you are ready, click on the "Submit" button to complete the overtime request
- Review the details of your overtime request in the pop-up and ensure all information is accurate.
- Finally, click on "Submit" to finalize and submit your overtime application.
By following these steps, you can conveniently apply for overtime and ensure that your overtime requests are accurately recorded.
When requesting for overtime, take note of these limitations:
- Cannot file Overtime on weekends. You can file on holidays.
- Cannot file overtime requests for today and past dates
- Inputted number of hours should be in whole numbers
Overtime Types:
- Ordinary Day or Rest Day Overtime:
Ordinary Day - If a multiplier renders his/her services beyond the standard eight-hour shift on his/her regular workday
Rest Day - asked to work on the standard eight-hour shift on his/her scheduled rest day, he/she will be compensated additional 30% of his/her daily rate or 130% of his/her salary for that day, which is calculated as Hourly Rate x 130% x no. of hours rendered. - Regular Holiday: If a multiplier renders his/her services on a recognized regular holiday, he/she will receive 200% of his/her daily rate.
- Holiday during Rest Day: If a multiplier renders his/her services on a regular holiday that also happens to be his/her rest day, then he/she will be compensated 200% of his/her daily rate and an additional 30% of his/her rate for that day, which is calculated as Hourly rate × 260% × number of hours rendered.
- Overtime during Holiday: For work done in excess of eight hours during regular holiday, the multiplier shall be paid an additional 30% of his/her hourly rate for that day which is calculated as Hourly rate × 260% × number of hours worked.
- Overtime during Holiday and Rest Day: For work done in excess of eight hours during regular holiday that coincides with the multiplier's rest day, he/she will receive an additional 30% of his/her 200% salary in addition to 200% of his/her salary, which is calculated as Hourly rate × 338% x number of hours worked.
