Cancelling Overtime

There are times when we have to cancel a overtime request. This can be done by both the requester and the supervisor depending on the status of the request

Below are the two ways for canceling a overtime request:


A. Cancel an Overtime Request in the Overtime Details Pop-up Screen

  1. Access the overtime request
    1. For Employees, go to Requests > Overtime Requests
    2. For Supervisors, go to Approvals > Overtime Approvals
  2. Double-click on the record you want to cancel
  3. The overtime details pop-up screen will show up. Click on Cancel.
  4. Indicate the reason for cancellation.
  5. Click on Confirm Cancel
    You cannot proceed with cancellation unless a reason is indicated
  6. Status changes to Cancelled

B. Cancel an Overtime Request in the Overtime Requests Table

  1. Access the overtime record
    1. For Employees, go to Requests > Overtime Requests
    2. For Supervisors, go to Approvals > Overtime Approvals
  2. Click the Cancel button
  3. A pop-up screen for cancellation reason will show up. Indicate reason for cancellation.
  4. Click on Confirm Cancel
    You cannot proceed with cancellation unless a reason is indicated.
  5. Status changes to Cancelled
