There are times when we have to cancel a overtime request. This can be done by both the requester and the supervisor depending on the status of the request:

Below are the two ways for canceling a overtime request:
A. Cancel an Overtime Request in the Overtime Details Pop-up Screen
- Access the overtime request
- For Employees, go to Requests > Overtime Requests
- For Supervisors, go to Approvals > Overtime Approvals
- Double-click on the record you want to cancel
- The overtime details pop-up screen will show up. Click on Cancel.
- Indicate the reason for cancellation.
- Click on Confirm Cancel
You cannot proceed with cancellation unless a reason is indicated
- Status changes to Cancelled
B. Cancel an Overtime Request in the Overtime Requests Table
- Access the overtime record
- For Employees, go to Requests > Overtime Requests
- For Supervisors, go to Approvals > Overtime Approvals
- Click the Cancel button
- A pop-up screen for cancellation reason will show up. Indicate reason for cancellation.
- Click on Confirm Cancel
You cannot proceed with cancellation unless a reason is indicated.
- Status changes to Cancelled
